DealMixerPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what DealMixer™ (the “App”) does with information. The App is provided by Lyon Operations LLC (“we”, “us”). Questions: [email protected].
Summary
- No account is required. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number in the App.
- The deal numbers you enter and the deals you save stay on your device. We do not receive them.
- If you subscribe to DealMixer Pro, the App Store or Google Play handles payment and tells the App whether Pro is active. We do not use a third-party subscription service and we do not receive your payment details.
- We do not sell personal data and the App has no advertising.
What stays on your device
Everything you type into the calculator and every deal you save is stored locally on your device. We have no accounts, no cloud sync, and no servers that receive your deal inputs or saved deals. If you delete the App, locally stored deals are removed with it. We cannot recover them.
Subscriptions (DealMixer Pro)
Some features need a Pro subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not see or store your payment card or billing details.
To unlock and restore Pro, the App asks the App Store or Google Play directly, on your device, which subscriptions you own. The answer (product and whether it is active) is kept on your device. We do not run a server that receives it.
This is used only to provide the features you purchased and to restore purchases. It is not used to track you or for advertising.
Apple and Google process purchases under their own privacy policies.
Sharing and exporting
You can share a deal card image or (with Pro) create a PDF. This happens only when you tap to do it. The file is created on your device and handed to your device’s share sheet, and you choose where it goes. We do not upload it. To share, the App briefly keeps a copy of the file in its private cache, and your device may clear it at any time. Anything you send to another app or person is then governed by that app’s or person’s own practices.
Permissions
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.
Analytics, advertising, and crash reporting
The App does not include advertising or analytics. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before it ships. Apple and Google may provide us with aggregated information through their developer tools (for example crash or sales statistics) under their own policies.
This website
This website is static. It has no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, and no forms. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and requested page, under its own policies.
Contacting us
If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply and to improve the App.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and it is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
Your rights
Because the App does not give us your deal data, we hold very little about you. We may hold your email if you contacted us. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to ask what we hold, and to have it corrected or deleted. Email [email protected] to ask. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. Subscription data held by Apple or Google is governed by their policies, and you can also contact them.
Security
Deal data lives on your device and is protected by your device’s own security. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. If we make a material change, such as adding data collection, we will update the policy before the change ships in the App.
